LOUISA VICTORIA "LULU" PEYTON
If I never were born, if I never died
Would it even matter at all? What should I decide?
I always imagined I'd mean something to someone
If I won't, 'least I tried
If I never were born, if I never died
Would it even matter at all? What should I decide?
I always imagined I'd mean something to someone
If I won't, 'least I tried

In her childhood, she was left alone by outsiders due to her bipolar nature (or, as it was known then: insanity) and when she was committed to the asylum, she became withdrawn and quiet, although she maintained a curious outlook to all goings on behind the walls. Upon her release, she turned to music and became very expressive through writing lyrics and singing. She is creative and eclectic, and can be very intelligent. She's a survivor and a feminist, and loves to be the centre of attention. With men she can be very loving, but only to the point until she can bite them and feed. With family - her sisters and her daughter, she's extremely protective and loyal. Try to hurt her girls and you won't even live to regret it. Her music and dancing will often have dark undertones, as most of her inspiration comes from the thirteen years she spent in the asylum, her dislike for her father and mother, and her brothers, and men in general, really. The only man she really even had feelings for was her daughter's father, Yves, whom she hasn't heard from in a year, as he is in Australia on business.
SKILLS: Violin and Piano. Singing, songwriting.
LIKES: Drinking, singing, her sisters, make up, blue eyes, green eyes, pretty things, Alice In Wonderland, Through The Looking Glass, Victorian style clothing, scorpions, snakes, frogs, rats and mice
DISLIKES: Her violent mood swings, being told 'no', being oppressed, things with more than four legs (except scorpions), her past, her father (for locking her up), lobotomies, psychiatrists, asylums, men in general

HISTORY: Born in 1832, Louisa was the first child of six to Henry and Victoria Peyton. Affectionately called Lulu, the girl was given the best care by the nanny that the Peyton's could afford. Being a middleclass family, and wanting for nothing, Louisa developed a wonder of an imagination, and consequently an imaginary friend, named Charlotte. Her parents thought nothing more than the girl was lonely and wanted a sister.
When Lulu was two, Victoria gave birth to twin boys, Henry Jr and Samuel. Although little Lulu adored her brothers dearly, she withdrew into her fantasy world more, oftentimes unable to be roused from her in-depth conversations with Charlotte. Although worried, Henry Sr and Victoria were far more ensconced in their own affairs, Henry with his position at the bank, and Victoria with her seemingly endless invitations to tea.
As time went by, Charlotte began to make more and more appearances, often blamed for things that went wrong in the household, and Lulu was the only one around. Crockery was broken, Lulu would blame Charlotte. The door was left ajar, Charlotte's fault again. By the time Lulu's little sister, Margaret, was born, the Peytons were thoroughly sick of Charlotte and forbade Lulu from ever mentioning her name again.
Things went smoothly for a little while after Margaret (or Mag) was born. Lulu's attentions were placed solely on her little sister, whom she was completely devoted to. Charlotte seemed to be completely gone, and the Peytons began to rest, thankful that it had merely been a phase that they oldest child had been going through.
Little did they know that Charlotte would make a return, soon after the birth of their third daughter, Mariana. For whatever reason, Lulu didn't take to the new baby as she had Mag, and once again, Charlotte was blamed for things that seemed to just... happen. The nanny took a spill down a short flight of stairs. Charlotte. Mariana was left in her carriage unattended for minutes at a time in the park across the way. Charlotte. The boys' hats were hidden, or their clothes cut to make dolls clothes. Charlotte.
As time went by, Victoria finally snapped and, whilst pregnant with the final Peyton child, she yelled at Lulu for her bad behavior. The strain upon her body was enough to send the woman into an early labor, and Eloise, or Ellie, was born premature.
Lulu, who by this time was eight years old, took a fascination with the tiny baby, and coddled it gently as she had with Mag. Victoria, due to the stress of labor, died shortly after birth and Henry was beside himself. He spent all of his time at the bank, often coming home late in the night when the children had been put to bed by their nanny, and leave early in the morning before any of them had even considered waking up.
The next year, Mariana developed and died from Scarlet fever. Although the funeral was a somber affair, the family were disrupted in their mourning by Lulu's giggling as she listened to Charlotte. Exasperated, Henry Sr took the girl by the wrist and thrust her at the nanny, telling the poor woman to take care of the girl... to flog her in necessary.
The nanny, wanting to do right by Mr Peyton, took the girl into the churchyard and laid the girl across her lap, giving her a good hiding for her childish behavior. Thoroughly shocked that the usually gentle nanny had spanked her, Lulu was quiet for the rest of the service, and was sent up to bed without supper, afterwards.
The years went by, and when Lulu was twelve, Charlotte made another appearance. At first, the familiar signs were very subtle, usually ignored. Lulu, being of an age where she could take care of her younger siblings, took her sisters and brothers to the park, where, under the guidance of the nanny, they played skipping games until it was time for supper. For whatever reason Lulu skipped further down the path than was allowed and accidentally bumped into a couple, taking a leisurely stroll through the park. Although apologetic, Lulu picked up a small rock and threw it at the lady, causing a cry of outrage. As the nanny ran toward the commotion, hastily trying to pull the eldest Peyton from the clasp of the man, Lulu used her jump rope in a whipping fashion, causing the end of the rope to twist rather tightly around the man's neck, all the while, the childish smile never leaving her face.
Commotion ensued and Nanny rushed to help the man who was turning blue in the face. Lulu calmly loosened the rope and continued about her business, skipping back toward her shocked brothers and confused sisters. Nanny rushed the quintet home after apologizing profusely to the couple.
Sometime during tea, the doorbell rang and a policeman, having been informed of the incident at the park, came to take Lulu away, although her sisters screamed for her to stay, the girl went calmly with the policeman to the station, where she was held until her father came to get her that night.
Upset and angry with his eldest daughter, Henry told Lulu to pack her bag, for she was going away. The true nature of his words caused the girl to break down, crying hysterically. She hadn't meant it, honest. It was a little bit of rowdy fun that had gone too far, she understood that! Please, Papa, do not send me away!
But Henry could not be turned, and the very next day, he took her to Bethlehem Lunatic Hospital, also known as Bedlam. The girl was given a small cell at the back, and although frightened by the cries of the mentally unwell, she kept her friend Charlotte close to her heart.
For the better part of thirteen years, Lulu was a resident of Bedlam, and was oft the discussion point of many medical studies. Should she be given a lobotomy? It seemed unkind to give a young girl such a procedure, and she was oft passed over for the procedure, although her distressed father said he would pay handsomely to have it done.
During this time, the girl developed an affinity with geological matter - dirt, sand, rocks, or anything made of said matter, including bricks. She would spend hours upon hours creating little civilizations in the dirt for ants to live in, only to bring the miniature cities crashing down upon themselves with gleeful laughter. Although noted, the subject was only brought up in meetings twice - once when she first started, and one other, when a new, curious doctor came aboard the medical staff of Bedlam.
When she was twenty years old, after eight years behind Bedlam's walls, Lulu was raped repeatedly by a new night porter. Night after night, she would submit to his needs, for fear of being beaten with the truncheon as she had a time or two before. It wasn't long until the girl became pregnant with the night porter's child, and although her doctors beseeched her, she would not give up the identity of the father. The thought of the child frightened the girl, and she consulted with Charlotte almost nightly. Although frightened of giving birth, and of the night porter's wrath, Lulu found herself becoming very protective of the child, and refused any treatment. There came a day during her second month, that the doctors ordered the porters to take her roughly to the operating room. Forcefully removing the fetus, they returned the distressed and distraught Lulu to her cell.
After that, much to Lulu's dismay, Charlotte did not return to comfort the ailing girl's mind. Lulu was left with her inner demons and she slowly, but surely, succumbed to the influence of the doctors.
When she turned twenty-three, after three years without a relapse, Lulu was released into the care of a psychiatrist, whose name Lulu failed to remember. As they drove away from Bedlam in the carriage, the doctor trapped her in a corner, and although at first, Lulu thought he might rape her, he merely bit at her neck. The pain caused her to scream, which was muffled by the vampire's gloved hand.
Awaking three days later, the newborn vampire awoke in a sparsely furnished room, her sire sitting on a three-legged stool beside her. Angry, confused and mentally unstable, the young vampire attacked her sire and, thinking she'd killed him, having ripped off his head, fled the scene, not understanding the new strength she'd acquired, nor the ravenous thirst which burned her throat.
For two years, the girl ran, learning more and more about herself as time went by. Her natural affinity with geological matter had manifested itself as a strange power, and she found she could move and control dirt and rocks and sand with the power of her mind and her hands. Fearing of being called a witch, she soon fled her havens for fear of being sent to Bedlam once again or even executed.
In 1857, the girl returned to London, to her home. Upon arriving, her father, now quite powerful with the bank, was shocked, having been led to believe that his daughter had been lobotomized and quite possibly killed during the procedure. Angered at his shock, Lulu snapped his neck without as much as a hesitation. Her brothers, now twenty-three and apprentices to their father, came running at the sound of their names being called. At first shocked at the sight of their sister, so stunningly beautiful as opposed to their faded memories of her, were killed almost instantly, Lulu ripping out their throats.
Finding her sisters in the old nursery, where they'd hidden after hearing commotion down stairs, she felt her old love for them bloom in her chest and instead of killing them; she knocked them out, before turning their still forms into demons akin to what she now believed herself to be, not wanting to spend the rest of her unnatural life alone.
Leading Mag and Ellie through their first year of vampirism proved difficult for the girl and she found, much to her joy, that Charlotte returned to help her out. The sweet voice in her mind was enough to give Lulu the strength to carry on and after five years of roaming the English countryside, the sisters settled down on the outskirts of London once again, working as a burlesque group to lure men to their dooms.
Soon, though, suspicion was brought upon them when one of the men killed turned out to be a well-known and well liked detective sergeant (consequently, the same policeman who'd taken Lulu to the station that night). Moving quickly, the girls packed their meager belongings and stowed away on a ship headed for America.
Arriving in New York on the 31st of August, 1865, the sisters quickly left before they could be found out as stowaways, and travelled cross country to West Virginia, where they had relatives, according to Mag, reiterating something Henry Sr had said a few years before.
Although never tracking down their family, the sisters took up jobs, once again in a burlesque act to lure men to their deaths. Every few years, they would change towns or cities and move on to juicier meals and richer territories.
Over the years, they've accumulated quite a fortune between them, and although they have secured many homes across the country, they never stay in one place long enough to be caught.
In recent times, a chance meeting with another vampire - Yves Thierry - and a consequent fling, Lulu fell pregnant again, with her daughter, Axelle Joliette - AJ - whom she loves and adores very much. She and Yves grew closer together and they formed a little family, until Yves made the decision to go back to Australia to sell off his various accumulated houses and businesses. She hasn't heard from him in at least a year and fears the worst.
Although Lulu was her sisters' sire, she's stepped down as head of the family, leaving the mantle to Mag, as her mental health and her frequent conversations with Charlotte have left her often unable to distinguish between reality and fantasy.
LET ME SEE YOU WALK --
RP SAMPLE: It's only a few bricks... who will notice? Charlotte's voice sounded so inviting... so friendly. Lulu smiled as she raised a hand, closing her fingers around one of the main base bricks of the building, fingers digging into the mortar, before dragging the brick out of the dirt... Smiling calmly, she set the brick at her side, and listened to the building's wall shudder and moan. Maybe just two or three more... from each side... Charlotte suggested. Lulu nodded approvingly... she couldn't have the building looking uneven, surely!
Systematically moving around the square building, removing bricks as she went, Lulu set the stones neatly at her side. The building groaned. Another... do another... She giggled, and repeated her actions around the building.
"Hey! You! What're you doing?!" The voice jolted her out of her stupor. The policeman was walking aggressively toward her. Run! Charlotte whispered urgently. Turning on her toes, the girl raced away into the night, her left hand creating a fist and punching the wall as she ran, the building she'd been ‘editing’ fell to the ground, bricks, mortar, wood and nails causing a terrific crash that lasted all of forty seconds.
"YOU!" The cop yelled, beginning to run after her. "STOP!"
She did nothing but giggle as she picked up speed and zoomed away from the destruction in her wake.
