HYBRIDS

PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS
A Hybrid can be an offspring of one of many pairings. Depending on their heritage, they can take physical attributes from either side. For instance, the offspring of a Vampire and Witch might prefer to come out at night, might be a little susceptible to the sun's rays. The offspring of a Werewolf and a Human might prefer their steak rare, rather than well done.
Hybrids are born, like any other child. Unless there is somethign seriously wrong with the birth, the mother will live. There are several types of hybrids: Vampire/Werewolf, Vampire/Witch/Wizard, Vampire/Shapeshifter, Vampire/Human, Werewolf/Shapeshifter, Werewolf/Witch/Wizard, Werewolf/Human, Witch/Wizard/Shapeshifter and Witch/Wizard/Human.

ABILITIES:

Adaptable. Depending on the heritage they possess, a hybrid can adapt to their unique makeup, whether it's coming out only at night, a steak on the rare side, a penchant for cursing bullies into a frozen lump of flesh before drinking their blood... well, I guess you get the idea

Fast Maturity/Slow Ageing. A hybrid will reach maturity about four times as fast as a regular human. At three months, they'll look a year old, a year old equal four years, etc etc. When they reach maturity, the ageing process slows down and they can remain in one age group for years upon years. For example, a hybrid that looks to be in their thirties, could really be a few hundred years old.

Secretive. Due to segregation in the past, Hybrids tend to keep their heritage a secret from people they've just met. To many, they will see like either of the species they encompass. There are those who are open about their heritage, who don't care about people's opinion, but they are few and far between, as they still feel apart from the rest of the supernatural world.


SITE SPECIFIC:

Pregnancy: Hybrids can only be impregnated by Hybrids of the same specie mix. For example, a Vampire/Werewolf Hybrid can only carry the offspring of another Vampire/Werewolf Hybrid.

Inter-Species: Relationships with Vampires, Hybrids, Shapeshifters, Werewolves, Witches and Wizards and humans are all allowed. We do not allow Hybrids to have romantic relationships with Ghosts.

Random: Hyrbids can have intimate relations with other 'full' species (except ghosts) and not get pregnant.
