"What do you wonder that I'm wondering?" He teased, a beautiful grin on his face. He took her left hand, slipping the ring onto her third finger, his eyes searching hers, looking for an answer to the unasked question. "Katt... I know I'm one complicated son of a bitch, but you've stolen my heart and even though I asked in the nicest way possible, you never gave it back... So," he took a deep breath. "It takes a lot for me to get close to someone, but when I do, it's meant to be... I ask that you give me your heart to replace mine..." He smiled. "Will you do me the honor of marrying me? Promise I won't do a disappearing trick..." He winked.
He held her hand, waiting for her answer. He felt whole when with her and never wanted to let her go.

Katt smiled as he spoke. There was nothing more in the world that she wanted than to be with him for the rest of her life. But was she ready for the committment? Marrying him meant a literal eternity, more than a lifetime, with the same person. It meant that she would have to make sacrifices, give herself wholly to him. And her father... She would have to tell her father. That would be an interesting conversation. "Oh, sweet daughter o' mine, what have you been doing for the past year?" "Oh, nothing, except I married a werewolf who is also sort of a huge magician in Vegas. No biggie."
She took a deep breath, and looked into those brown eyes that she loved so much.
"Of course, I will." She said, leaning in to kiss him. She didn't care about the complications. She loved him. And that was all that mattered.

Kris laughed aloud as she voiced her affirmation. Wrapping her in a big bear hug, he spun her around, still laughing. "She said yes!" He cried out, and a resounding cheer came from up the stairs near where they were situated. He grinned as he looked at her and shrugged. "I kinda had it planned for a while." He confessed. "I was really hoping you'd say yes, otherwise I'd look like a colossal fool up there." He smiled. "Sure, Pete and his woman's surprise visit almost put a stop to it all, but I'm glad we were able to defer that for now."
He put an arm around her shoulders and led her up the stairs where the crew and a large cake, made by the hotel, waiting for them. As they reappeared from below stage, the crew burst into a loud applause, followed by hugs to both Kris and Katt and voices calling congratulations to the happy couple.

Katt laughed as he spun her, holding onto him tightly. She gave him a confused, and yet quite amused, look as she heard the cheers from above stage. Kris usually wasn't the person to tell that to everyone; but then, the hotel staff had become more like an extremely large extended family than just a staff. "Eh, Pete and his woman didn't put a damper on it at all." She said, smiling even wider as she kissed him again.
She went with him up the stairs, and hugged and thanked the people around her. She kept fingering the ring on her finger, making sure that it was still there and she didn't just imagine it all. She was actually marrying him. Not immediately, of course, but still. She was on cloud nine, as she slowly made her way through the crowd and towards the large cake, surrounded by all of the chefs and kitchen workers. Cake was the fastest way to Katt's heart, and she loved how well Kris knew that.
